About Gonoi VillageÂ
Few visitors realize that this peaceful woodcarving village was once part of Gò Nổi, a land deeply woven into Vietnam’s history.
During wartime, Gò Nổi’s resilience was so legendary that Vietnamese still say, “Nhất Củ Chi, nhì Gò Nổi”—placing it second only to Củ Chi ( Cu Chi tunel) in strategic importance and defiance.Â

The same rice fields that once concealed underground shelters are now home to skilled artisans shaping intricate carvings. The village’s wartime ingenuity still lingers in creative ways:
When you join our workshop, you’re not just learning a craft—you’re stepping into Gò Nổi’s remarkable story of survival, transformation, and art
