Naruto (ナルト) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. It tells the story of Naruto Uzumaki, a young ninja who seeks to gain recognition from his peers and also dreams of becoming the Hokage, the leader of his village. The story is in two parts, the first set in Naruto's pre-teen years, and the second in his teens. The series is based on two one-shot manga by Kishimoto: Karakuri (1995), which earned Kishimoto an honorable mention in Shueisha's monthly Hop Step Award the following year, and Naruto (1997).

Naruto (NARUTO -ナルト) è un manga scritto e disegnato da Masashi Kishimoto e pubblicato dall'ottobre 1999 al novembre 2014 sulla rivista Weekly Shōnen Jump di Shūeisha, per un totale di 15 anni di serializzazione. I 700 capitoli realizzati sono stati raccolti in 72 volumi tankōbon sotto l'etichetta Jump Comics; il manga è stato tradotto e pubblicato in diverse lingue, tra cui in inglese da Viz Media, in italiano da Planet Manga, in francese da Kana, in tedesco da Banzai! e in spagnolo da Glénat.

Naruto (ナルト) est un shōnen manga écrit et dessiné par Masashi Kishimoto. Naruto a été prépublié dans l'hebdomadaire Weekly Shōnen Jump de l'éditeur Shūeisha entre septembre 1999 et novembre 2014. La série a été compilée en 72 tomes.
La version française du manga est publiée par Kana entre mars 2002 et novembre 20161.
À la suite de son succès sous forme de manga, une adaptation en anime est réalisée par les studios Pierrot et Aniplex et est diffusée sur TV Tokyo depuis le 3 octobre 2002. Une seconde partie du récit a aussi vu le jour et a été renommée Naruto Shippuden lors de son adaptation. La série animée est diffusée en France depuis le 2 janvier 2006 sur Game One2 ainsi que sur NT1 et sur Cartoon Network depuis la rentrée 2007. En Belgique, elle est diffusée sur Club RTL depuis la rentrée 2008. Game One diffuse aussi depuis le 5 septembre 2008 la seconde série : Naruto Shippuden. Les épisodes sont également proposés en version originale sous-titrée en français en simulcast sur J-One, Netflix et Anime Digital Network.
