About Majin Vegeta:
- His name is a pun on the word vegetable (ベジタブル bejitaboru) itself.
- In his first appearance, Vegeta's initial story arc is almost identical to that of Piccolo, as both are otherworldly beings who develop a deep rivalry with Goku after being defeated by him but then go on to team up with him in order to fight more powerful foes, and in the process, Vegeta appears to develop a fondness for Gohan and comes numerous times to his aid as Piccolo did. While Piccolo dies fighting Nappa, Vegeta is killed by Frieza, but both are revived by the Dragon Balls and go on to fight alongside Goku against stronger foes such as Cell, Majin Buu, Beerus, Zamasu, Jiren, Broly, Baby, Super 17 and Omega Shenron.
- Vegeta's favorite vehicle is the attack ball.
- Vegeta has the second-largest kill count out of all the Dragon Team.
- In the Greek dub of Dragon Ball Z, Vegeta and Nappa's voices have filters like the other villains in the series (including former villains). But sometimes, these filters won't be heard on some occasions.
- Ironically, the first time Vegeta openly shows his love of Trunks and Bulma occurs when he is possessed by Babidi which traditionally brings out the evil in people.
- Vegeta does not have a last name.
- While Vegeta is shorter than Bulma throughout Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT, he becomes taller than her in Dragon Ball Super and the movie counterparts.
- The original Super Saiyan God appears identical to Vegeta, right down to even the clothing they wear, suggesting some kind of relation between them.
- In Xenoverse 2, if the Future Warrior talks to Vegeta while wearing Future Trunks' attire, he will say while thinking out loud "That outfit, I wonder how he's doing" before telling them not to worry about it.
- Vegeta is the first mortal character to defeat a God of Destruction on-screen.
- Vegeta has killed every member of the Ginyu Force.
